She's a fire in my soul Through her solitude, she'll make you cold. If my dreams were fused to her I'd waste my time in thought. Come along. I will cross the Chinese Sea Stepping on the crowning waves pushing me. If I'm harded by her stare and turn to stone Then I will surely sink Come along and I will take you in. Lips to hand I will abide. Framing foliage traps me inside. Though she's hideous when I'm around I'll Stay. Come along. All your contact makes me high I love it when you cry. I'll stick out this passing storm, but only if you cry. She's a fire in my soul as I wait out in the night's coming cold. Though I'm hardened by her love and turn to stone I'll Stay Come along and I will let you in.

Walking down railway lines trying hard to get from point B back to A, and hoping that it'll be the most effective way. Down railway lines with soggy shoes helping to contribute to a narrowing of views Wettened by the fallen static melting at your feet, in through the holes in the soles of the footwear you bought cheap When all you've got are trains of though a snowy track most often distracts. Make good of a rotten situation and finally help someone in need that is a friend. Cause all it takes to fix mistakes is having time to spend to air things out and sort 'em through. Leaving just a question of why it took so long to do. Encouraged by a lack of anger written on their face which 'til now had ailed and derailed resolutions taking place. For best results assume some fault when lies once spun start to come undone. You'll save a lot more in the long run and You'll be back to where it's at, get settled in record a small win forget all about what could have been.

Your eyes catch a fleeting glimpse but your mind interprets intention a look back, you see where it's at just a game that's of your mind's invention The sooner the better is where you are Round two it's kind of up to you you have to start to consider your chances before she's walks out the door, and your night is ripe for palmed romances The sooner the better is where you are The tuner, the pedal, the bass guitar the tuna, the butter, the caviar The sooner the better is where you are Well done another battle won. A name, with number to boot, what a sly guy. Much cred where once had been dread, and it's all born fruit because of one try. The sooner the better is where you are The tuner, the pedal, the lead guitar the tuna, the butter, the caviar The sooner the better is where you are

Free to cut and run Packed and ready to shove off and spray goodbyes demanding final hang time. Back to where you've been Fact is that you are going to need two eyes to deal with lack of foresight. Where to go from here it's hard to know You wanna understand new concept: give a damn. You left it far too late past tense is hard to take. Subtle all the while Undercover and taking the time to find routes that won't leave you behind. Best to work it out Prior effort will pay off one day but just might require tact and foresight If you're keeping score it's well below the standard low Where you've been? Where you sinned, How'd that shit get in your grin? Last to know and forced to laugh, but First to lose their better half. Caught between these spoiled freaks in soiled sheets they will not let you get away.

What's new today, after a week? Force of habit, built-in redundancy. We'll play a game, perhaps a drink. Charming showcase: something you're bound to see. Turns out I have this knack to lead you on. I hope to god that soon it's gone. Unfit while lit my actions veer a certain way I've reduced myself today can't you see. Well see you soon. perhaps a week? Best behaviour for public decency. You be the dame, I'll be the dink. Brazen Showcase someone is bound to see. Still haven't lost that knack to lead you on. I'm sure through God it won't get gone. Unfit, must quit. Non-action steers clear of the fray. I've preserved myself today.

Starting 02:58
Standing around waiting for a return It was here just for the moment then the moment passed leaving you with that blank look there on your face. If it never comes there'll be time then to mourn until that point just keep trying, and applying yourself you're bound to think of anything Tried it before but it's just now starting to take a little more time until it meets required standards finished before ignored for fear of some mistake Now it's gone. You said it before that you wouldn't give in maybe this time you can prove it, and improve the way that you take everything so seriously Competing to score with an eye on the win Throwing rules right out the window, and indulging your need to keep a lid on everything heard it before and now it's starting to make sense Just give it awhile before you pop the quiz and test me. Heard it before and now it's starting to sink in. Now it's gone.

about

Alternatively titled 'How to Dawdle' this album represents a collection of songs written, recorded, and completed over the span of a few years. No song was written with the intention of being part of an album and I hope the result is a project which is interesting rather than disjointed.
